eviflow is a digital consultation support tool for pharmacies, building on the pharMe research project developed at the University of Basel. It combines self-entry of information by customers with structured consultation, decision support and automated documentation. eviflow thus supports pharmacies in conducting consultations, including in complex situations, in a structured, safe and efficient manner.

pharMe was initially developed in the field of emergency contraception, then tested in Swiss pharmacies and scientifically evaluated. The results of the pilot study were published in 2026 in the scientific journal Pharmacy. The knowledge and experience gained through the project have been incorporated into the further development of eviflow. Since August 2026, eviflow has been made available to Swiss pharmacies by Qualitheke GmbH.

For its innovative and practice-oriented strengthening of pharmaceutical counselling, pharMe received the Audience Award of the pharmaSuisseInnovation Award at the Swiss Pharmacists’ Congress in 2025.
